On January 17th, 2013, W.E.T. played an exclusive show at the Debaser Club in Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate the release of their sophomore album, "Rise Up". The show was promoted almost exclusively through a viral web campaign, so that night the faithful and energized crowd's fever for the band, featuring Robert Säll (the "W" from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the "E" from Eclipse) and Jeff Scott Soto (the "T" from Talisman) was incredibly high (despite the cold Swedish winter being in full force). Fans flew in from all over the world and the venue was packed to the rafters when the band hit the stage with their driving number "Walk Away".

W.E.T showcased songs from the then forthcoming album "Rise Up" as well as from the critically acclaimed self-titled 2009 debut album. A truly exquisite performance, where the band played many fan favorites including two Talisman songs, as well as one song each from Eclipse and Work of Art. The Eclipse song was "Bleed & Scream" which was sung by Erik Mårtensson and the Work Of Art song was "The Great Fall" where the band were joined by Lars Säfsund, lead singer of W.O.A.

The resulting album "One Live - In Stockholm" captures a stunning performance and celebrates the birth of W.E.T. as a kick-ass live unit.

The Swedish/American melodic hard rock supergroup W.E.T., which features vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (SONS OF APOLLO, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, TALISMAN), guitarist/vocalist Erik Martensson (ECLIPSE, NORDIC UNION, AMMUNITION) and guitarist Robert Säll (WORK OF ART), will release its third studio album, "Earthrage", on March 23 via Frontiers Records Srl. Back in 2009, when melodic rock supergroup W.E.T. released their self-titled debut album, there was no anticipation of
continuing to create records 15 years down the line.

However, the three-piece comprised of vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Talisman, Journey, Axel Rudi Pell, Malmsteen), Erik Mårtensson
(Eclipse) on guitar, bass, keys, and completed by guitarist Robert Säll (Work of Art) return with their fifth studio album.

Titled 'APEX' the record is a bold statement in the band's confidence that they have delivered their best work to date. Eleven
tracks full of big choruses and hooky melodies, all served on a platter of smooth heaviness.

Guitarist Erik Mårtensson describes the new single:

The acronym W.E.T. comes from the members’ association with other bands, Robert Säll & Andreas Passmark from Work of Art, Erik Mårtensson & Magnus Henriksson from Eclipse and Jeff Scott Soto from Talisman. And now, for the first time ever, the T is emphasized as Talisman drummer Jamie Borger has joined forces with the band’s original core members.

W.E.T. truly epitomizes what melodic rock has become in the new decade. The key element at the foundation of W.E.T. has always been to create a modern melodic hard rock sound that will drive the genre into the future. Combining powerhouse rhythms and top-notch production (courtesy of Erik Martensson), the music is equally classic and contemporary.

Although a side project to the members’ original bands, over the course of the band’s existence, W.E.T. have reconvened regularly over the last 15 years to produce four studio albums and a live record.

Starting with a genre-defining self-titled debut, Robert Säll (the “W” from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the “E” from Eclipse), and Jeff Scott Soto (the “T” from Talisman) accepted the daunting task to give that debut a follow-up, “Rise Up”. After that stellar follow-up, their third opus, “Earthrage”, cemented a legacy of music which will stand the test of time. “Retransmission”, their latest album, is nothing else than an absolute milestone, which is well in keeping with the tradition established by the three amazing records that have preceded this one.

Erik Mårtensson says: “It’s always a challenge to find that sweet spot in our calendars when we are all available, not to mention the fact that Jeff lives in California and the rest of us in Sweden. But I also believe that adds to our ambition once we are able to gather. We are all aware that we don’t get too many shots at this, so when we do we gotta make it count.”
