Según EddieTrunk.com, Don explicó que él quiere seguir adelante, extender sus alas musicales y hacer algo diferente. También le dijo a Trunk que le gustaría hacer una disco muy potente de metal, con una dirección musical que el cantante describió como "un cruce entre TOOL y SLAYER".
Por otro lado DOKKEN se ha separado de su bateria Mick Brown y lo ha sustituido por Jimmy DeGrasso (MEGADETH, Y & T, ALICE COOPER, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES).
