Our brother Dominique Leurquin is finally ready to join Rhapsody on stage after the terrible hand injury happened 1 year ago. We will headline the festival of Hodonin (Czech Rep.) next year on August 15th 2014 and in that same day Dominique will finally share the stage with all of us. PROMETHEUS, SYMPHONIA IGNIS DIVINUS - UPDATE

Hi my friends, I just wanted to give you a fast update about the working process related with the new LT’s RHAPSODY album entitled PROMETHEUS, SYMPHONIA IGNIS DIVINUS and planned to be released during this year by our faithful friends of NUCLEAR BLAST.

While all the new songs are, more or less, basically composed, on the first days of February I will be finally able to start with the first phase of the orchestral/cinematic arrangements, the basic ones that start giving a precise identity and “color” to each song. All in all it took 5 months, working at the rhythm of 16 hours per day, to finalize the orchestral template that I built essentially for my new company LUCA TURILLI MUSIC PRODUCTIONS (http://www.lucaturilli.com) and that I am using and I will use to create all the music of RHAPSODY, the songs, the arrangements, the elements of sound design, etc.

Sleepless nights, headache, technical problems of all kind… but honestly it was all worth. The one I have is actually one of the most powerful systems available for a composer. 45 minutes to load everything, 2500 Cubase tracks “ready to go” with all the instruments existing on the surface of the planet distributed on many computers and loaded into massive amounts of RAM. In other words I am going to use for the new RHAPSODY album the same powerful system I am going to use for my company while composing and arranging music for TV, cinematic trailers, movies and videogames. Yes my friends, you will soon understand the real meaning and the true essence of the word CINEMATIC, what LT’s RHAPSODY is and will be all about. And now back to work. PROMETHEUS - SYMPHONIA IGNIS DIVINUS: NEW ALBUM UPDATE

Hi to all!

Here we go with an important update related with the new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY album entitled PROMETHEUS - SYMPHONIA IGNIS DIVINUS. In reality we can not tell too much until an official statement by NUCLEAR BLAST will appear (and we guess it should appear in a short time). What we can just reveal in the meantime is that the release date will be postponed of some more months and that the reason for that is that the album is going to be “…nothing else than a real masterpiece!” (Markus Wosgien, Nuclear Blast - Head Of Promotion). Yes, that was the amazing reaction of our friends of Nuclear Blast who recently had the chance to hear a demo of the first songs extracted from the new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY album. Markus continues: “Cinematic, orchestral and epic as only RHAPSODY can be. Probably more cinematic than ever before as in some cases I had the real feeling of sitting in front of a giant screen and to enjoy the vision of a big budget Hollywood movie while listening to an amazing soundtrack of the last generation where metal, hybrid music, symphonic, folk, opera - and much more - blend themselves perfectly! Honestly I don’t find other words to describe the amazing melodies of this extraordinary album with an outstanding Alessandro Conti, some of the greatest choirs ever heard in this kind of music, some great surprises and many songs that could soon become real hits!”.

We want to thank Markus for his incredible words and let you know that after such presentation and the related excitement of our record company, we agreed together with Nuclear Blast to postpone of some more months the release date in order to find the perfect timing for it and to make of this album a TOP PRIORITY release for the label.

Starting from September onwards, through this same Facebook page, we will start releasing exclusive video material already recorded and showing LUCA TURILLI in his personal home studio while composing, arranging and orchestrating the new RHAPSODY album. Expect also some more footage from the BACKYARD STUDIOS of Kempten (Germany) for a “virtual overview” on the whole production process. Moreover, we already started collaborating with our new tour agency CONTRA PROMOTION in order to plan the ambitious PROMETHEUS CINEMATIC WORLDWIDE TOUR 2015, as we are really looking forward to meeting you all, beloved brothers and sisters!

Here we go with another update related with our new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY album entitled PROMETHEUS - SYMPHONIA IGNIS DIVINUS. Just to tell you that I recently went through the most creative and exciting time of my life. 11 songs were previously composed and partly already recorded. Right now, in the last 2 months, I reached the final goal of 20 songs composed. I never had so many tracks available for an album and believe me if I tell you that the final decision for the album sequence will be very hard, this time harder than ever before. These new songs will be recorded in Kempten (Germany) at the BACKYARD STUDIOS in September and from that moment on, thanks to this official Facebook page, you will be constantly updated about what is going on...

DODO IS BACK!!!

The show of the MADE OF METAL festival on August 15th (Hodonin, Czech Republic) will be very important also because it will be the first show where DOMINIQUE LEURQUIN will perform with us on stage since the new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY band was created.

Last time, just before the ASCENDING TO INFINITY CINEMATIC TOUR started, he thought to play with a chainsaw, he almost lost his hand and risked to end his artistic career forever. Then, thanks to a real miracle and his perseverance he won his challenge.

No worries… this time we took care of him…a straitjacket and a special room for psychopaths were enough to ensure he didn’t play with chainsaws or even with forks and knives.

So we should finally have him back in Rhapsody after all this time… we missed him so much.

RHAPSODY OF FIRE are proud to reveal that new material for the next studio album has been written and more songs will be written in the next months. The band will enter the studio in March 2015. Alex Staropoli says: "I am actually working with Roby De Micheli, we have fantastic guitar riffs and many fast songs. Fabio Lione already recorded the demo vocals for one of the most epic songs I have ever written and it sounds amazing! A new epic film score metal album is going to be created and we are living with great excitement this creative process!"

The creators of CINEMATIC METAL are finally back with their most outstanding record: »Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus«, which is set to be released on June 19th (EU), June 22nd (UK), June 30th (US) by Nuclear Blast Records.

The album was composed and produced once again by Luca Turilli, responsible as always of all the orchestral and choral arrangements. It was recorded and mixed at the Backyard Studios of Sebastian Roeder (Bonfire a.o.) and mastered by Christoph Stickel (Michael Schenker’s TEMPLE OF ROCK a.o.) at MSM studios.

Seven months of composition, three months of production, over 50 days of mix, two choirs, several special guests, including Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Dan Lucas (KARO) and David Readman (PINK CREAM 69). Including 70 minutes of epic music, sounding cinematic, bombastic and dramatic as never before, the new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY masterwork will lead the listener to an emotional and memorable journey between quantum gates, parallel dimensions, myths and legends hiding cosmic truths, ancestral secrets and spiritual revelations.

And this time it was not enough for the band to simply sound CINEMATIC. It came the time for RHAPSODY to finally “look” CINEMATIC too. Therefore, the new cover artwork and the album booklet, introducing the new cinematic graphic style of the band, were realized by the well-known amazing artist named Stefan “Heile” Heilemann (EPICA, LINDEMANN a.o.).

The first single, entitled 'Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)' will be released on April 24th, 2015.

The digipak version of the album will include the cinematic version of 'Thundersteel', the famous song of RIOT, performed by the RHAPSODY singer Alessandro Conti in duet with Ralf Scheepers
