WINTERSUN: lista de temas de su nuevo disco "The Forest Seasons"


Jari Mäenpää comenta sobre el concepto del disco: "Este álbum es nuestra versión de "Las cuatro estaciones" de Vivaldi, pero no tiene nada que ver con Vivaldi musicalmente o con música clásica. ¡Es material original 100% de Wintersun! Es algo nuevo y diferente. Digamos que tiene un tono un poco más oscuro en general ...;)"


El disco será lanzado por Nuclear Blast a finales de 2017.

Yes, you guessed it! This album is our version of Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons', but it hasn't got anything to do with Vivaldi musically or with classical music. It is 100% original and solid Wintersun material! It is something new and different. Let's just say it has a bit more darker tone overall... ;)

WINTERSUN: portada de su nuevo disco "The Forest Seasons"


La semana pasada, Wintersun anunciaron su campaña de crowdfunding que comenzará el 1 de marzo y que permitirá a los seguidores de la banda conseguir el "Forest Package" - que incluirá su próximo álbum de estudio "The Forest Seasons" - directamente de la banda. Con la cantidad recaudada, el líder Jari Mäenpää planea construir su propio estudio, que finalmente le permitirá grabar su esperado álbum "Time II".

Hoy Wintersun presenta la portada de su tercer álbum, "The Forest Seasons".

"Estamos orgullosos de mostrar nuestra portada del tercer álbum. La portada se hizo en colaboración con Gyula Havancsák y Jari Mäenpää, que ilustra el despertar de un bosque místico en el que las estaciones se fusionan. :roll:

WINTERSUN presentan un segundo guitarrista



Wintersun anuncian la incorporación de Asim Searah como segundo guitarrista de la banda.

Wintersun's second guitarist is 27-year old Asim Searah. We welcome Asim to the band!

Asim was born in Pakistan and moved to Finland at the age of 18 to pursue a career in music and has been playing in several bands and projects since then.

We've known him for a long time and we knew he is a great singer, but we didn't realise how talented and skillful guitar player he is. Asim was actually the first who sent us an audition video, which surprised us very positively. After the video auditions and two rounds of live auditions we realised he was exactly what we were looking for. He is very motivated and passionate with a good heavy metal attitude - a great guitar player and vocalist to improve the live sound of Wintersun even further!

Asim comments:

"It's an honour to be a part of a band that I have looked up to for many years. It's definitely a dream come true and I'm super excited to share the stage with Wintersun!"
