El black metal de los noruegos BORKNAGAR regresa con su resplandeciente “True North”.
Ya han pasado varios años desde que Borknagar decidieron tomar un descanso, tras el cuál, regresan no sólo con nuevo disco sino con una formación en la que militan ahora Øystein G. Brun, Simen “I.C.S. Vortex” Hestnæs, Lars A. Nedland, Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow y Jostein Thomassen.

En palabras de Øystein “Estamos sinceramente orgullosos y emocionados de anunciar finalmente el tour europeo para True North en 2020 acompañados de Saor y Cân Bardd. Partimos en Varsovia el 21 de noviembre y visitaremos toda europa al completo.

¡No es necesario añadir que estamos ansiosos de comenzar este tour y deseamos que todos nuestros fans se unen a la True North adventure a lo largo y ancho de Europa!”

Será en diciembre de 2020 cuando los noruegos vengan acompañados de SAOR, que presenta «Forgotten Paths», disco, tal y como se denomina Andy Marshall, de “Caledonian Metal” y CÂN BARDD, sobrecogedor black metal atmosférico desde Suiza.

La gira de BORKNAGAR, SAOR y CÂN BARDD ha sido cancelada



Informamos que la gira de Borknagar + Saor + Cân Bardd ha sido cancelada.




Debido a la incertidumbre que rodea a Europa en este momento por el COVID-19, y otras restricciones que están teniendo lugar, los conciertos de Borknagar + Saor + Cân Bardd en España se cancelan.

Comunicado de las bandas:

Borknagar:
“Dear friends, fans and associates!
We are deeply saddened to announce that we are forced to cancel our planned “True North European tour” together with Saor and Can Bardd as support acts. As you may understand, the reasons for the cancellation are quite obviously due to the pandemic. For the past few months we have been leaning forward, getting our vaccines and preparing for the tour with persistence, excitement and a gleam of hope to finally be able to get back on the road, play shows and meet all of you. But the reality of the situation is that we can’t, no matter how much we want. The situation is still way too unpredictable for an event like this, nomadic by nature. We are truly sorry!”

Saor:
"We regret to inform you that The True North tour 2021 with Borknagar, Saor, and Can Bardd is unfortunately cancelled. This is due to the uncertainty surrounding Europe at the moment due to COVID-19 and other restrictions that are taking place. We feel this is a huge risk for all the bands and crew at this stage is simply not feasible given the current circumstances. We want to apologise for everyone who bought tickets and supported the tour from the start and who kept their tickets during the first postponement. We are extremely sad about this and we hope that the world will heal sooner rather than later. News about Saor in 2022 to be announced in due time so we will see you in 2022 with a brand new album"
