"Rulebreaker", the new video from traditional heavy metal titans VOLTURE, can be seen below. Shot on VHS (even Beta!) in the band's hometown of Richmond, Virginia, this timeless clip sees VOLTURE "bring[ing] the spirit of olde back," according to a press release.
VOLTURE was formed in late 2008 by Ryan Waste (MUNICIPAL WASTE) and Nick Poulos (CANNABIS CORPSE, PARASYTIC) with the hopes of bringing real heavy metal to the masses. After releasing a now sought-after split with Sweden's ENFORCER and a ripping EP on Heavy Artillery Records entitled "Shocking Its Prey", the quintet proved itself to be a true force in the heavy metal realm.
In other news, Tankcrimes Records has released the "Rulebreaker" two-song song single digitally, with the seven-inch vinyl to follow in early 2012.
VOLTURE will perform at Keep It True festival on April 27, 2012 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen. The band's appearance at the event will be part of a short European run.
