ACCEPT will perform at all European festivals in 2024 and the South American tour in May with Joel Hoekstra.
Joel Hoekstra will be standing in for Phil Shouse, who will remain with the band as their permanent live guitarist for all other gigs.
New York based Joel Hoekstra is best known to fans as a current member of the legendary band Whitesnake and is part of the outstanding Trans Siberian Orchestra.
He has also played with Cher, Night Ranger and Foreigner to name just a few of his numerous collaborations.

Legendary heavy metal titans ACCEPT announce their new album, entitled Humanoid, to be released on April 26, 2024, with the first single and video to be released on February 28! The upcoming masterpiece was once again produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by critically acclaimed heavy metal producer Andy Sneap. Starting today, fans can immerse themselves in the upcoming album on a newly launched interactive website, where they can reprogram the robot that is featured on the album cover, and discover different parts of the album in the process. Together with the album announcement, ACCEPT has also revealed a massive European headline tour with more than 20 shows across the continent for autumn 2024! BREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ACCEPT
After deep deliberation, Accept will return to the traditional two guitar player lineup and has parted ways with German guitarist Uwe Lulis.
This decision was solely based on logistical challenges, with no personal or musical disagreements at all.
Uwe and Accept are on excellent terms and remain good friends, Metal Brothers in Arms and will continue to be so
We had a fantastic decade together, created killer songs and brought metal to the biggest stages around the world .
We wish him all the best and celebrate our time together with honour and utmost respect.

50 Years of ACCEPT: 50 A-List Musicians Join Celebratory Manifesto of Metal

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT celebrate 50 years of pure power, bringing together the scene’s A-list musicians for a landmark release. Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 is a definitive statement of the band’s legacy, forged in steel and driven by unmistakable riffs. Arriving September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records, the album delivers some of the most iconic songs ever written in heavy music. At the helm, guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the longtime architect of ACCEPT’s sound, is joined by a staggering 50 guests across 19 reimagined versions of the band’s biggest tracks. With it, ACCEPT deliver one of their most ambitious and star-studded releases to date.

Progressing through albums from their formative years, from I’m a Rebel (1980) to Eat the Heat (1989), ACCEPT present their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, alongside the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann’s unmistakable riffs. By enlisting a Who’s Who of metal, no two songs on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 are the same. Every track features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, giving each classic a fresh edge. Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on “Save Us” (I’m a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee tear through the speed metal classic “Fast As A Shark” (Restless and Wild, 1982). “Balls to the Wall” surges with the powerful range of Metal God Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs. The reimagined “Love Child” is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both songs from Balls to the Wall, 1983). Other guest stars on ACCEPT’s extraordinary release include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis. Topping it off is a re-recording of “Hellhammer” (Eat the Heat, 1989), performed by ACCEPT’s current lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse and drummer Christopher Williams, joined by Jason McMaster on vocals.
