Also in 2012 the German Queen of Rock aka Doro Pesch does not take a break and will hit the road again from November to December by starting her European Tour 2012.
In the moment Doro and her band are recording the new album which will be released this year via Nuclear Blast.

Statement Doro: Hi Fans! Last weekend I went to the USA by plane to work on the last few songs for my upcoming album. There is not much left until the new record is finished – after 3 years of hard work, but it was worth it. My first album on Nuclear Blast will be a smash hit! The mix of the 12-14 songs will probably be done in Scandinavia. The producer guarantees a hard, fresh and modern sound. I can´t hardly wait until my first Blast-Album will be finally released in October. To shorten the wait for all of you fans and also me, we are planning the release of an EP until May/June 2012. And in November we will rock through Europe … with a new album and about 4-5 new hymns included in our live set!

German metal queen Doro Pesch has set "Raise Your Fist" as the title of her new album, due in the fall via Nuclear Blast Records. An EP, "Raise Your Fist In The Air", will precede the full-length effort on August 3.

"Raise Your Fist" was recorded and written in the U.S., Germany, and Scandinavia. Doro says, "Right now we're in the mixing stages and are close to finishing everything. Most important to me are the power hymns 'Raise Your Fist In The Air' and 'Victory', which will also be available on the forthcoming EP! Both songs have been played live on our last tour and also made last year's Wacken Open Air shake! 'Raise Your Fist In The Air' will also be available in French… which is going to be very interesting. For the diehard fans of German songs like 'Für Immer' ['Forever'], there are two songs in the same vein — sensitive and quite dark 'Human Rights' and the very emotional 'Engel' ['Angel']. There are also a lot of fast songs like 'Little Headbanger' and various fist-pumping ones featuring amazing guests like Gus G. (OZZY OSBOURNE, FIREWIND) on 'Last Man Standing' which fans will for sure dig live. We also have a song that honors the late Ronnie James Dio called 'Hero' and another highlight named 'It Still Hurts' featuring MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister. The cover artwork has once again been created by British artist Geoffrey Gillespie who is a close friend and companion since he made it into the Guinness Book Of World Records for his 'Triumph And Agony' cover as the biggest album cover in the world. Since then, he's done ten covers for us!"

The "Raise Your Fist In The Air" EP will be made available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download.

„We specially went to a great old wine region in Spain to pick the right product for me, “ DORO explains. “I discovered a very fine red wine there.” And she named it after her great ballade ‘Herzblut’. At this winery the singer also decided to create the world’s first ever Rock’n’Roll champagne, an excellent Cava, that will be introduced to the marked under the label ‘Hero’, a song from the latest album »Raise Your Fist«.

Commented DORO: „It was my wish for my 30years stage anniversary, which I will be celebrating with the grand double finale on May 2 and 3, 2014 in my hometown Düsseldorf, to present unique drinks to the fans, that represent my own taste and quality standard.” Mission accomplished!

2014-02-28 15:15 - In honor of her 30 years stage jubilee, internationally successful rock singer DORO PESCH will celebrate with fans from all over the world and two separate yet unique shows on May 02: the »Classic Night« with Orchestra, and May 03: the »Rock Night« with many guests, at CCD Stadthalle of her hometown Düsseldorf.

Just in time for the celebration, there will be an anniversary record of the rock queen. The »Raise Your Fist – 30 Years Anniversary-Edition« contains the re-release of the successful »Raise Your Fist« record, as well as a real bonus CD highlight entitled »Powerful Passionate Favorites«. There you find new and unreleased tracks, but also DORO cover versions of her favorite artists, such as LED ZEPPELIN, TINA TURNER, METALLCA and DIO.

Another highlight is the French version of her hit `Raise Your Fist In The Air‘ as well as a new mix of `It Still Hurts‘, a duet along with MOTÖRHEAD icon Lemmy Kilmister.
