EQUILIBRIUM anuncia el lanzamiento de su primer EPEQUILIBRIUM lanzará su primer EP el 16 de agosto a través de Nuclear Blast Records. Producido por el guitarrista René Berthiaume en los "Helion Studios" y mezclado y masterizado por los Hermanos Resetti - Joerg Umbreit y Vincent Sorg - en sus "Principal Studios".
"Waldschrein" incluye el nuevo tema que da título al EP y una versión acústica del mismo, además de una re-grabación y versión extendida de "Der Sturm" del disco "Turis Fratyr" (originalmente cantada por ex-vocalista Helge Stange, ahora líder de Robse Dahn). Además, contiene "Zwergenhammer" - una canción inédita -, así como una versión de "Skyrim" tema de apertura de un videojuego
Comentó la banda:. "Estamos muy ansiosos por laznar este EP, ya que tenemos que esperar hasta el próximo año para nuestro nuevo álbum de estudio se publique. Esto hace que sea la oportunidad perfecta para lanzar algunas canciones y grabaciones que no se incluirían en un disco normal porque son muy exclusivas. Lo mejor es que con “Waldschrein” podemos ofrecer a los aficionados un pequeño anticipo de lo que les espera en el 2014".

In August, German epic metal heroes EQUILIBRIUM will unleash their pagan fury once again – on their very first EP to date.
Produced by guitarist René Berthiaume in Helion Studios and mixed and mastered by the Resetti Brothers – namely Joerg Umbreit and Vincent Sorg – in their Principal Studios, »Waldschrein« encompasses the brand-new title track and an acoustic version of the same song plus a re-recorded and extended version of `Der Sturm´ from »Turis Fratyr« (originally sung by ex-vocalist Helge Stange, now by front man Robse Dahn). Moreover, it contains `Zwergenhammer´- a previously unreleased older song – as well as an amazing cover version of famous video game “Skyrim”’s opening theme.

“We’re really looking forward to release this EP, because we all have to wait until next year for our next full-length album to be released. This makes it the perfect chance to release some songs and recordings that didn’t make it on any regular album because they are so exclusive.
