Jarkko Ahola (TERÄSBETONI) lanzá album de NavidadJarkko Ahola (AHOLA, TERÄSBETONI, NORTHERN KINGS) lanzará un álbum de Navidad, "Ave Maria - Joulun Klassikot" ("Ave Maria - Clásicos navideños"), el 9 de noviembre.
"La idea era hacer un álbum de Navidad que sonase majestuoso y grandioso, pero aún así delicado y dinámico. Estaba claro que no habría orquestaciones basadas en samples, sino una verdadera orquesta sinfónica tocando la mayoría de las canciones.. A pesar de que el sonido muestreado y programación midi puede conseguir resultados bastante convincentes, lo real suena como una cosa ... REAL! También se graba un órgano que en unaa iglesia para que el sonido fuese aun más tangible."
Y añadió: "El álbum fue grabado en varios lugares, pero mis partes se hicieron en el estudio Neomusic en Helsinki con Janne Huttunen sentado detrás del escritorio. Miikka Huttunen manejó la mezcla y Svante Försback hizo la masterización."

Commented Ahola: "The idea was to do a Christmas album that would sound majestic and grand, but yet still delicate and dynamic. It was clear that there would be no sample-based orchestrations, but a real symphony orchestra playing most of the songs. Even though sampled sound and midi programming can do pretty convincing results, the real thing just sounds like a… REAL THING! We also recorded a big sounding organ at church to make the package even more tangible."
He added, "The album was recorded in several locations, but my parts were done at Neomusic Studio in Helsinki with Janne Huttunen sitting behind the desk. Miikka Huttunen handled the mixing and Svante Försback did the mastering."
