ICED EARTH: concierto en la India, grabación de DVD en Chipre y el bajista Freddie Vidales deja la banda ICED EARTH, en la actualidad en China con conciertos en Shanghai y Pekín dentro de su WORLD DYSTOPIA TOUR anuncia un nuevo espectáculo en Bangalore (India) el 16 de junio siendo la primera visita a la India de la banda. Por otro lado el concierto del 19 de agosto en Limassol 8 meses después de su última actuación allí, será filmado y grabado para un próximo DVD / CD.
"La decisión de dónde se va a hacer el próximo álbum y DVD de IE en vivo no fue fácil. Hemos tenido públicos increíbles por todo el mundo y realmente nos hubiera gustado filmar a todos. Sin embargo, la electricidad y la atmósfera de la primera actuación en Chipre era tan aterradora que estamos convencidos de que este es el mejor lugar para hacer nuestro próximo DVD. ¿Quién sabe lo que depara el futuro? habrá muchos más álbumes y giras ... tu ciudad puede ser la siguiente! ", dice Jon Schaffer
Por otro lado el bajista Freddie Vidales ha anunciado que dejará la banda después de los conciertos en china este mes de abril. Debido a los compromisos de la gira teníamos la necesidad inmediata de un sustituto y Appleton Lucas (de Fury UK, con el que ICED EARTH giro por Europa el pasado invierno) ha tomado el relevo y se unirá a tiempo para el concierto en la India

US-metal powerhouse ICED EARTH, currently in China for the first time with shows in Shanghai and Beijing this week, are adding on more shows to their massive WORLD DYSTOPIA TOUR.
The show in Bangalore, India on June 16th is a first visit to India for the band and the show on August 19th in Limassol marks a much-clamored return to Cyprus, only 8 months after their last show there. The show is being filmed and recorded for an upcoming DVD/CD release.
"The decision of where to do the next IE live album and DVD was not an easy one. We have experienced so many amazing audiences around the world that we really wish we could film them all. However, the electricity and atmosphere of the first show in Cyprus was so killer that we are convinced this is the best place to do our next DVD. Who knows what the future holds? There will be many more albums and touring cycles...your city may be next!", says Jon Schaffer

In other news, bass player Freddie Vidales has announced he will leave the band after the Chinese shows this April. Due to the bands massive touring commitments there was immediate need for a replacement and Luke Appleton (of Fury UK, with whom ICED EARTH toured in Europe last winter) has stepped up to the plate and will be joining the tour in time for the show in India.
