Drummer Ace Finchum has once again exited U.K. glam metal legends TIGERTAILZ. He said in a statement: "I have decided to leave the band TIGERTAILZ, as it was a bloody mess and being dragged through the mud, and enough was enough for me. My days of answering to tyrants and given ultimatums had to end, so it has."

He added: "There are things that have just come up through court documents I have only just seen for the first time and never realized how many copies the 'Bezerk' album sold! All in my soon-to-be-published book."

Fellow TIGERTAILZ original member Jay Pepper (lead guitar) wrote in a separate statement: "I will continue to release product and merch and try and keep the 'TAILZ name alive and we'll see where that takes us. But one thing's for sure.. There will be NO TIGERTAILZ reunion. I'm old enough to never say never, but I can say with my hand on my heart I will NEVER play in a band with Ace or Kim [Hooker, vocals] ever again. Nope, those relationships are over forever for me. But I'll keep the 'TAILZ site open and see what I can release when I can."

He continued: "So there it is, folks.. One chapter closes and another opens. I'm looking to the future, but won't spend one more second wiping people's arses and pushing water up a hill. Only then to be then punched in the face for all my efforts. And isn't it funny, the people who cause the most grief are the people who contribute the least."

We are sad to announce that due to personal reasons Jules has had to leave Tigertailz.

We are really sad to see him go but respect his decision as the band’s priority is always that family, life and people’s wellbeing come first. We've had some amazing times and played some incredible shows. So we wish Jules all the very best for the future.

'It's been an honour to have been a part of the Tigertailz legacy and to have had the opportunity to be in a band that I have loved since I was a teenager, so I look back on my time fondly. To The Tailz fans - thank you for your acceptance and support over the past three years. It was a pleasure to share the stage with Jay, Rob, Matt, Ace and Jason, I wish you all nothing but the very best for the future.'

We are currently in the studio working on the new Tigertailz record (Daggerz) and making great progress – so our plans are still on-track and do not change. We will complete the new record but obviously now with a different singer. An announcement as to who this will be will be made at a later date.

But for now we continue as normal and all future Tigertailz Live shows will go ahead as planned.

Tigertailz welcome phenomenal hard-hitting Power Quest / Dendera front man Ashley Edison as their new vocalist.

It's said certain metals cannot be mixed, they cause corrosion. Surely this is true when trying to meld together a power metal vocalist and the UK's most prolific Glam Metal band?

Jay Pepper: 'Some things should never happen, and yet when Ashley came to the studio and began singing 'Sick Sex', the mountains in Wales started to rumble, an earthquake was happening, and his voice was causing it! From that moment I knew people had to hear it. Ashley singing Tigertailz songs is like a jet engine running on Nitroglycerin!'

Ashley Edison: 'I am SO excited to be joining the legends in Tigertailz! A band that not only inspired so many but still put on a hell of a show! When I was with Jay singing Sick Sex, everything just felt right and fell into place perfectly!
