International Rock & Metal Band A HERO FOR THE WORLD from Sweden & the Philippines will release this December 1st 2017 a new album called “CineRock”.

The album features around a dozen brand new recordings of more or less well-known songs from the big screen of Cinema, and TV. Recorded in the signature Symphonic and Cinematic epic & fun Rock and Power Metal style of the Band.

“CineRock” will be released worldwide on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, Deezer, Amazon.

“The World’s Greatest” (From the movie “Ali” with Will Smith) is the first time for the band to cover an R&B song.

“The Macahans” from the 70’s cult western TV show “How the West was Won – 1977”; this is the first digitally released version of this classic melody, and the first known recording of it released in Stereo ever.

The album also features previously released singles “The Prayer” (From Warner Brothers “Quest For Camelot”) and “Beauty And The Beast”.

International Rock & Power Metal Band A HERO FOR THE WORLD from Sweden & the Philippines will release this November 9th 2018 a new Christmas album called "Winter is Here (A Holiday Rock Opera Pt. 2)".

It is the awaited follow-up to the "Winter is Coming - A Holiday Rock Opera"-album, released 5 years ago.

The album features more than a dozen brand new recordings of more or less well-known Christmas and Winter songs. Recorded in the signature Symphonic and Cinematic epic & fun Rock and Power Metal style of the Band.

The title song "Winter is Here" is a new original song written by Jacob Kaasgaard; continuing the unexpected "Game of Thrones"-theme of the title song on the "Winter is Coming"-album. It is a power ballad about the TV show's character "Bran Stark", with some nerdy alternative fan theories about who is the real night king (come next Summer we shall all know anyway).

The songs "Hosianna / Ack Värmeland, Du Sköna / Himlen i Min Famn" marks the first time we hear Jacob sing in his native tongue of Swedish.

The cheery opening song "Sound of Life" is a rare cover of Jose Mari Chan, known as the "Father of Philippine Christmas Music".

About the epic song "The Lord's Prayer", Jacob says:
"Inspired by Andrea Bocelli's awesome version, I knew I couldn't make a similar version to his sound even half as good. So, as I sometimes do (and did with "O Holy Night" years ago), I let the arrangement build and build to even higher notes towards the end."

He continues:
"I had great fun recording this album, and really got in to the festive spirit that week.
The song "Campanas de Belén" is the first time I sing a whole song in Spanish. I first heard it and learned the lyrics last year in a local Spanish class in Spain."
And, "Thanks to Felipe Gruber for the epic rhythm guitars. You will hear more of him on the upcoming space-themed album West to East Part 2 next year."

It is the awaited follow-up to the "West to East pt. I: Frontier Vigilante"-album, released 2 years ago.
"Space Ranger" is the second part in the West to East-trilogy.
The first album saw our unnamed hero go into the Wild West, the second into Outer space, and the third and final album (scheduled for 2020) hopefully sees him go back to Earth, to Asia.

The "Space Ranger" album features more than a dozen brand new recordings, including a few singles such as "We Are Not Alone (In the Universe)" and "Supernova", recorded in the signature Symphonic and Cinematic Epic Rock and Power Metal style of the Band, this time with some more Synths than usual.
All songs are written by Jacob Kaasgaard, except for the closing track "Jupiter and Mars", which is co-composed with Gustav Holst.

A Hero For The World was formed in 2012 and has since released 6 full-length albums; "Space Ranger" is the bands' third album with only original songs.

Based upon the music of Elton John, Tim Rice, Lebo M, Hans Zimmer and more, the band covers songs from the latest Lion King movie, as well as some from the Lion King 2 and the acclaimed Broadway musical.

"The Lion King Rock Opera" album features mostly brand new recordings, including a few singles such as "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" in a fun power metal version and "Circle of Life", the Elton John classic recorded in the signature Symphonic and Cinematic Epic Rock and Power Metal style of the Band.
