Temperance are going to release their first live DVD ‘Maschere – A Night At The Theater’ on September 8th on Scarlet Records

Temperance captured on DVD an outstanding performance in the picturesque setting of Teatro Sociale in Alba, Italy, a theatre show which marks an important milestone in their fast rising career, following the release of the critically acclaimed third album ‘The Earth Embraces Us All’, a European tour with Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody and shows with the likes of Nightwish, Epica and many others, for over a total of 100 concerts in 3 years.

This is how guitarist Marco Pastorino commented: “A live DVD is a milestone for every band and we are releasing it pretty early on in our career, its like a dream come true. Since the moment we started this band we’ve always thought that writing songs that one day could be performed with a string quartet and a choir would be our goal. And here we are playing with these amazing musicians! We worked really hard to get here and we see this as a new starting point for the band. With this new release we also took the chance to present our new drummer Alfonso Mocerino (from the classic Italian Progressive band Il Balletto Di Bronzo) to our fans! His drumming on this DVD is out of this world!”

Maschere: A Night At The Theater’ will be released on September 8th in DVD+CD format.

TEMPERANCE PART WAYS WITH SINGER

Melodic Metal band Temperance have announced the decision to move ahead without singer Chiara Tricarico, who is now officially no longer in the band. Chiara has sung on Temperance’s 2014 self-titled debut release up until the latest DVD ‘Maschere: A Night At The Theater’ and together they toured the world extensively. Temperance wish her the best of luck for her future endeavours. More news will be announced soon on the band’s official web pages.

We’re extremely proud to announce the new line-up with the entrance of Alessia Scolletti and Michele Guaitoli as new vocalists of Temperance!

Michele, already singer of Kaledon and Overtures, became through the years one of the most significative performers in the Italian scene, with hundreds of shows and several tours in his background.

Alessia is one of the most shining promises of the national panorama, thanks to her unique and extraordinary vocal character!

These are the first statements of the new members of the band:

Alessia: “Being part of Temperance is an honour for me. With such a background, the actual situation and the plans for the future every musician would be incited to give his best and to believe in what he is doing. I can only say “thanks” to my new band-mates and wish us the best for the upcoming journey!”

Michele: “It is clear that this step is the highlight of a relationship - not only in professional terms - based on friendship that has constantly grown through the years. Being part of this band is definitely the most natural and spontaneous evolution of a wonderful reality born in time.”

Melodic metallers Temperance are entering the studio to record the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed third album ‘The Earth Embraces Us All’.
The band have announced that ‘Of Jupiter And Moons’ is the confirmed title of the release, which will be mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Epica, Volbeat, Amaranthe).

The album is set to be released on April 20th, 2018 on Scarlet Records.
