Vuelve FAIRYLAND Al menos yo les había perdido la pista desde su último disco de 2009
Comunicado de la banda (más bien de su líder Phil Giordana) en su facebook oficial:Bueno, las noticias.
En primer lugar, la mala: Napalm Records no lanzará el próximo álbum de Fairyland. Así que estamos en busca de una nueva discográfica.
Segundo: daros cuenta de que he dicho "nosotros". Después de hablarlo y pensarlo cuidadosamente, he decidido convertir a Fairyland en una autentica banda, en vez de un proyecto en solitario. Creo que lo hice bien con "Score To A New Beginning" (para aquellos que no me siguen, demostré que podía continuar con el espíritu de la banda sin los exmiembros). Tiene un buen número de ventajas volver a una formación estable, y una de ellas es la oportunidad no despreciable de tocar en directo con más frecuencia.
A partir de ahora, la alineación se compone de Willdric Lievin (Hamka) en el bajo, JB Pol (Kerion, Hamka) en la batería y yo en los teclados. Estoy esperando la confirmación de los que van a ocupar los puestos de cantante y guitarra. En las próximas semanas, voy a empezar a buscar un guitarra rítmica. Una vez que todo este hecho voy a anunciar la formación definitiva.
En cuanto al trabajo: tengo que realizarme una cirugía mayor antes de finales de año, por lo que sera un poco complicado tratar y gestionar todo de una vez. Pero ante todo, se va a grabar el álbum (esperamos comenzar el trabajo de estudio en unas dos semanas), la preparación de un video promocional, confirmar la formación, y buscar una nueva discográfica.
Francesco Cavalieri (Wind Rose) será la voz principal en este nuevo álbum, Willdric será el bajo, JB la batería, yo me quedaré con los teclados, y Quentin Godet los solos de guitarra. Ya veremos las guitarras rítmicas cuando estamos allí. Willdric y yo haremos los coros, así como Francesco las partes adicionales.
Con todo, estoy muy entusiasmado con este nuevo comienzo y no puedo esperar a compartir nuestro trabajo con los fans.

Well, here's a bit of news.
First, the one that sucks: Napalm Records won't be releasing Fairyland's next album. So we're looking for a new label.
Second: notice that I've said "we". After careful thinking and talks, I've decided to turn Fairyland back into a genuine band, as opposed to a solo project. I think I've made my point with Score to a New Beginning (for those who didn't follow, it was to prove that I could continue in the band's spirit without the ex members). There are quite a few advantages to going back to a steady formation, one of which is the non-negligible opportunity to play live more often.
As of now, the line up is comprised of Willdric Lievin (Hamka) on the bass, JB Pol (Kerion, Hamka) on the drums and myself on keyboards. I'm waiting for confirmation from those who will hold the positions of singer and solo guitarist. In the next few weeks, I will start looking for a serious and available rhythmic guitarist. Once all that is done, I'll announce the final formation.
As for the in-depth work to come: I have to get major surgery before the end of this year, so it will be a little demanding to try and manage everything at once. But mostly, it will be recording the album (we expect to start studio work in about two weeks), preparing a promo video, confirming the final line up, and looking for a new label.
Francesco Cavalieri (Wind Rose) will be holding the lead vocals on this new album, Willdric will handle the bass, JB kick the drums, I'll stay on the keys, and Quentin Godet will shred the guitar solos. We'll see about the rhythmic guitars when we're there. Willdric and I will handle the choirs, as well as Francesco for additional parts.
All in all, I am extremely excited about this new start and can't wait to share our work with the fans.
