HALESTORM has set an August 14 release date for "Halestorm Reimagined", a collection of reworked original songs as well as a cover of "I Will Always Love You", the love ballad made famous by Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton. The six-track effort will also include a reimagined version of the HALESTORM song "Break In", featuring a guest appearance by EVANESCENCE's Amy Lee. The new version of the track, which originally appeared on HALESTORM's second album, 2012's "The Strange Case Of..." , was recorded last October at a Nashville studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who had previously worked with both bands.

It’d be so much easier to just sink into the hole that I have dug for myself, the grave that this world, broken trust, guilt, toxic relationships, pressure, anxiety and depression have helped me create. And as always, music comes to the rescue. My words and messages in my songs that I’ve been so lucky to have unleashed for others empowerment… is also my empowerment. It is my life light, providing my nutrients from a muse on high, a fickle but gracious muse that enables me to balance my emotions, and manifest my destiny. It reminds me how to love, and who looks back at me in this house of mirrors. A reflection sometimes bent, but never broken. Through music we heal, and rock forward, knowing that we are not alone on this journey. With horns raised, we march through the quicksand, and together we make it to the other side, hell cannot hold us down.

HALESTORM To Release 'Back From The Dead' Album In May; 'The Steeple' Single Out Now

Grammy-winning hard rock band HALESTORM has announced "Back From The Dead", its fifth studio album, due out May 6 via Atlantic. The follow-up to 2018's "Vicious" was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, MASTODON, ALICE IN CHAINS) with co-production by Scott Stevens (SHINEDOWN, DAUGHTRY, NEW YEARS DAY).
