25 years after the release of the legendary "Night Of Passion" album, German hard rock band MAD MAX returns with the original lineup — Michael Voss (lead vocals, lead guitars), Jürgen Breforth (rhythm guitars), Roland Bergmann (bass, vocals) and Axel Kruse (drums) — and a new studio album, "Another Night Of Passion", due on March 23, 2012 (three days later in Europe) via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD was recorded at the Kidroom Studio, which is owned by Michael Voss and where albums from Michael Schenker, VENGEANCE and Gary Barden were previously produced. The cover artwork was designed by the Belgian artist Eric Philippe (RHAPSODY, TNT) and the photos were taken by the famous German photographer Martin Huch.

"The new record could have been a direct [follow-up] to 'Night Of Passion' in terms of its stylistic direction — no ballads, no keyboards, just purebred rock songs – naturally in a contemporary sonic guise," explains MAD MAX guitarist Jürgen Breforth, who recorded the new CD with vocalist Michael Voss, bassist Roland Bergmann and drummer Axel Kruse.

"Another Night Of Passion" will be made available as a jewel case featuring eleven songs, and in a limited-edition digipak, containing the bonus CD "Official Bootleg - Live In Berlin".

MAD MAX will release the new album “Thunder, Storm and Passion” via Steamhammer / SPV shortly. The release dates are:

Europe: August 28th, 2015
USA + Canada: September 4th, 2015

The album comes as a high class digipac and contains 12 re-recorded classis on CD 1 and a bonus CD “Live at Bang Your Head Festival 2014”. The complete tracklisting can be found below.

Mad Max will release their new album "35" on August 10th, 2018. "35" was produced at the Kidroom Studios in Greven, the drums were recorded under the direction of Rolf Munkes (CREMATORY, Phantom 5, among others) at his Empire Studios in Bensheim near Frankfurt, and the album was mastered at CS Mastering in Bratislava by Christoph Stickel (Michael Schenker, among others), so the production parameters live up to the album’s high compositional standard.
The album will be released as CD DigiPak version, limited vinyl version, download and stream.

Today MAD MAX releases their new single "Hurricaned" together with a great lyric video. Rainbow and Vandenberg singer Ronnie Romero Official Site shares vocals on this song with Michael Voss. Our former lead singer Michael Voss

informed us that he decided to leave Mad Max.

He wants to focus on other musical projects in the future.

Due to personal reasons bass player "Hutch" is also no longer a member of the band.

As 2022 will be the year in which we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mad Max we would already like to warm up in 2021 with lots of shows as soon as it will be possible again.

Because of this we are proud to present you NOW the NEW "LINE-UP".

The 27-year-old EMMO ACAR as representative of the "new generation" will take over the lead vocals.

One of the best and innovative guitar players in Germany, Ralf "Doc" Heyne and Fabian "Fabs" Ranft on bass complete the new chapter of Mad Max.

We will of course introduce you to Emmo, Ralf and Fabian very soon.

MAD MAX Germany announce the release of their new album “Wings Of Time”!
It all began in the year 1982 when the "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" stormed in from Great Britain all over Europe. This was the starting point for MAD MAX founder and guitar player Juergen Breforth to make his musical dreams come true. MAD MAX was born and now 2022, after 15 albums and concerts all around the world, MAD MAX are celebrating their 40th anniversary. WINGS OF TIME is Juergen’s vision of MAD MAX. With Julian Rolinger on lead vocals MAD MAX capture perfectly the style and vibe of their 80‘s roots but also take the MAD MAX sound way further. The first single "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" is a heavy melodic rocker with a magic groove. Radio DJs that already heard the song couldn't believe that this band is from Germany. They thought it must be a newcomer from the USA and not a band from Germany with a history of 40 years. Check out "BEST PART OF ME" which was inspired by the wonderful spirit of Jimi Jamison from SURVIVOR and you know exactly what the radio DJs are talking about. "Wings Of Time" will be released on September 2, 2022 as digipack CD and digital streaming/download format and on November 4, 2022 as Gold vinyl as well as Blue/Gold Splatter vinyl. Both vinyl editions are limited to 300 copies worldwide!
