Following on the heels of the critically acclaimed documentary film We Are Twisted F*cking Sister! comes a deluxe box set chronicling the meteoric rise of the legendary glam rock outfit who strutted their way to the top of the music scene in high heels and fishnet stockings. Featuring three full length vintage live recordings dating back to the group’s late ‘70s, early ‘80s heyday, this incredible release, titled Rock ‘N’ Roll Saviors - The Early Years, is available now via Deadline Music.

In addition to the classic Twisted Sister lineup of vocalist Dee Snider, guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, and bassist Mark “The Animal” Mendoza, these recordings feature early drummers Tony Petri and Ritchie Teeter as well as the man who earned the spot as permanent drummer, the brilliant A.J. Pero, whose passing last year was mourned across the entire rock universe...

El primer concierto de la serie "Metal Meltdown" fue en el famoso Hard Rock Ca*sino en Las Vegas, el 30 de mayo de 2015. Twisted Sister interpretaron durante 90 minutos sus grandes éxitos. El concierto fue en honor del batería A. J. Pero, cuya trágica muerte, dos meses antes de la filmación de este concierto conmocionó al mundo de la música. La banda anunció que todos los conciertos programados para 2015 estarían dedicados a la memoria de A. J. Pero, y que en 2016 coincidiendo con su 40 aniversario la banda dejaría de hacer giras. Reclutaron al batería y amigo de A. J. Pero, Mike Portnoy para completar de nuevo la formación, y este primer concierto fue grabado.

El trabajo fue producido por Rock Fuel Media en asociación con Loud & Proud y fue dirigido por Brian Lockwood (Bon Jovi, Metallica, Motley Crue). Compiled from the original Atlantic Records tape vaults by TWISTED SISTER's co-founder Jay Jay French and Joe Reagoso (TWISTED SISTER, ALICE COOPER, THIN LIZZY), this long-overdue release contains a stellar overview of the band's remarkable gold-and-platinum career.

Due on January 14, the five-star deluxe two-LP set includes classic Atlantic Records studio tracks like "We're Not Gonna Take It", "Under The Blade", "I Wanna Rock", "Leader Of The Pack", "Wake Up (The Sleeping Giant", "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll" and "Shoot 'Em Down". The second half of this amazing album contains a 20-year historical compilation of the bands favorite U.K. concert performances from the Marquee club, Hammersmith Odeon and the Astoria. Hard-hitting smashes like "Stay Hungry", "Like A Knife In The Back", "S.M.F.", "Destroyer" and "Tear It Loose" truly are some of the finest heavy metal live tracks ever caught on tape.

Twisted Sister Cancels 50th Anniversary Celebration Performance

Due to the sudden and unexpected resignation of Twisted Sister’s lead singer Dee Snider brought on by a series of health challenges, the band has been forced to cancel all shows scheduled, beginning April 25th in Sao Paulo Brazil and continuing through the summer.

The future of The future of Twisted Sister will be determined in the next several weeks.

A lifetime of legendarily aggressive performing has taken its toll on Dee Snider’s body and soul. Unbeknownst to the public (until now) Snider (70) suffers from degenerative arthritis and has had several surgeries over the years just to keep going, able to only perform a few songs at a time in pain.

Adding insult to injury, Dee has recently found out the level of intensity he has dedicated to his life’s work has taken its toll on his heart as well. He can no longer push the boundaries of rock ‘n’ roll fury like he has done for decades. Says Snider, “I don’t know of any other way to rock. The idea of slowing down is unacceptable to me. I’d rather walk away than be a shadow of my former self.”

In the immortal words of Dirty Harry, “A man’s got to know his limitations.” Sadly, Dee Snider now knows his.

Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact

Joey Cassata, who played drums on Ace Frehley's final original solo album, "10,000 Volts", has confirmed that he will sit behind the drum kit for TWISTED SISTER's upcoming fall 2026 featuring Sebastian Bach on lead vocals.

Earlier today, Joey took to his social media to share the news of Bach's collaboration with TWISTED SISTER, and he included the following message: "SUPER excited (and beyond honored) to be drumming for this LEGENDARY band!!

"I've been an SMF since I was 8 years old… and now this?! Absolutely surreal.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ROCK AND ROLL!!"
