Tony Mills deja TNTDespués de tres álbumes de estudio y extensas giras en Escandinavia, Europa y EE.UU. con TNT, Tony Mills continúa su viaje en solitario. Obligaciones artísticas y contractuales en Japón y Australia, así como diferentes preferencias en el mundo del rock han impulsado la decisión de separarse de la banda.
"Ha sido un largo camino desde 2006 y he pasado por muchas cosas desde que Z Records me recomendase para el trabajo en Oslo», dice Tony. «He conocido una gran cantidad de gente de aquí, al ser una población tan pequeña en comparación con el Reino Unido, el mercado de la música rock es mucho más grande de lo que jamás hubiera creído, con un gran apoyo del gobierno, que abre las puertas a la financiación. La base de fans se continua a través de generaciones y el apoyo promocional no tiene precedentes. El país es mucho más grande de lo que parece y hemos volado muchas veces, he perdido la cuenta". Mills continúa.
«Después de la muerte de nuestro querido Dag Stokke, y la separación de Víctor Borge, al final del año pasado, mi marcha no puede ser del todo inesperada. Pero hay otros contratos que necesito cumplir y hay un enfoque diferente para los próximos años. Deseo a Ronni y su equipo todo lo mejor para su futuro, pueden darle su propia forma. Hemos tenido algunas experiencias notables juntos y hemos trabajado con algunos personajes increíbles, desde Ozzy Osbourne a Trino Rein, Anita Hegerland, Skid Row y Motorhead, Stage Dolls, Morten Abel, Edad Sten Nielsen e incluso el príncipe heredero... Tony Mills se presentará con TNT en Alesund el 09 de agosto y en Eidsvoll el 10 de agosto y regresará del Reino Unido para tocar el último concierto con TNT en Trondheim, Noruega el 23 de agosto, que anunció en el Periódico Adressa esta mañana.

After three studio albums and extensive touring in Scandinavia, Europe and USA with Norwegian hard rockers TNT, Tony Mills continues the journey in his own artistic direction.Tony’s contractual obligations in territories like Japan and Australia, as well as different preferences in the rock world fueled the decision to part ways with the band.
«It has been a a long road since 2006 and I’ve been through a lot since Z Records recommended me for the job in Oslo» says Tony. «I’ve met a huge amount of people here; for such a small population compared to the UK, the market for rock music is a lot bigger than I could have ever believed with grand support from the government and open doors for funding.The fan base is spread over generations and the promotional support unprecedented.The country is much bigger than it seems and we have flown so many times, I’ve lost count» Mills continues.
«After the passing of our beloved Dag Stokke, and the parting with Victor Borge at the end of last year, my depart- ing may not be altogether unexpected. But there are other contracts I need to fulfill and a different focus I have to maintain in the coming years. I wish Ronni and his team all the best for their future, however it may shape itself. We’ve had some remarkable experiences together and we’ve worked with some incredible characters, from Ozzy Osbourne to Trine Rein, Anita Hegerland, Skid Row and Motorhead, Stage Dolls, Morten Abel, Age Sten Nielsen and even the crown prince. Bless them all; I hope to see them a few more times before the rock n roll wheel stops spin- ning and finally grinds to a halt. Tony Mills will be performing with TNT in Ålesund August 9th and at Eidsvoll August 10th and for the good feeling of all concerned, I've agreed to return from the UK to play my final show with TNT in Trondheim, Norway on 23rd August, as announced in Adressa Newspaper this morning.
