In the history of Heavy Metal not many bands can claim to be able to celebrate their breakthrough twice. ACCEPT managed this four years ago, as, with their reunion record Blood Of The Nations; returning with a vengeance!

Now ACCEPT open the next chapter in their book of Heavy Metal, with the upcoming studio record Blind Rage, which due to scheduling conflicts will now be out on August 15th.

There will also be a limited edition Digipak including either bonus DVD, or Blue-ray disc. It features a complete ACCEPT live show, recorded in Chile 2013 during the Stalingrad tour.

Upfront will be the single release of the opening track ‘Stampede’, which will be out on TBA, digitally and on a limited vinyl edition. The band also did a video clip for ‘Stampede’, which will be ready by the end of June.

»Blind Rage« was produced by Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH). The cover artwork was done by Daniel Goldsworthy (HELL).

Accept at W:O:A 2014 – “Restless and Wild/ Best of” Show

Today we proudly present: Accept.

After 10 years of absence the band from Germany returns to the Holy Wacken Ground.

Founded in the 70′s Accept are pioneers in terms of metal music and have gained cult status by now.

The band will be playing a special Restless and Wild/ Best Of set. Restless and Wild was their fourth studio album which has had a great impact on the world of metal not only because Fast as a Shark is considered to be the very first speed metal song at all. We are thrilled to see them play their epic show. This will definitely be a “Night to Remember”!

We are going to celebrate our anniversary as promised with bands from all the different stages of the festival history. As always it is our goal to bring you a good mixture of old metal veterans and some fresh blood. We think this makes the perfect Line-up for a 25th Anniversary!

We are very happy to have such bands as 5th Avenue, Axe ‘n Sex, Sacred Season or Skyline in our Line-up because they performed at the very first Wacken Open Air and therefore laid the basis for the festival itself.

Other companions like Saxon, Motörhead, Kreator, Hammerfall and Tobi Sammet of Avantasia + special guests will perform live on stage due to our jubilee. Accompanied by some newcomers and bands which haven’t played at the festival in a long time, for example Megadeth, King Diamond or Carcass.
