2016-06-15 - Nuclear Blast Entertainment is very pleased to announce the signing of Swedish progressive legends, OPETH. All these years later, nothing and everything has changed once again with their forthcoming album »Sorceress«.

2016 marks the monumental return of one of heavy rock’s most unique, revered and fearless bands of the last three decades, OPETH. Over the years, the experimental, prog veterans have continuously reinvented themselves, pushing the boundaries of their craft and expectations of fans and critics alike. Today, OPETH announces their 12th album, »Sorceress«, will be released on September 30th and have unveiled the artwork and track list for their imminent masterpiece.

OPETH’s new album, »Sorceress«, their first for Nuclear Blast via the band’s imprint label Moderbolaget Records, is proof chief architect Mikael Åkerfeldt has a near-endless well of greatness inside. From the album’s opener 'Persephone' to 'The Wilde Flowers' and 'Strange Brew' to the album’s counterpart title tracks 'Sorceress' and 'Sorceress II', OPETH’s twelfth full-length is an unparalleled adventure, where visions cleverly and secretly change, colors mute as if weathered by time, and sounds challenge profoundly...

Swedish progressive metal legends OPETH will release "Garden of the Titans: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheater" on November 2nd via Moderbolaget Records / Nuclear Blast Entertainment. This historic event was captured for the DVD, Blu-Ray and Vinyl formats during their performance May 11th, 2017 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO. Both the DVD and Blu-ray formats include CDs containing the audio as well.

Video footage for "Garden of the Titans" was overseen by The Deka Brothers (CARPENTER BRUT, THE PRODIGY) and audio was mixed by David Castillo (KATATONIA, BLOODBATH). All versions feature the masterful artwork of revered artist Travis Smith (NEVERMORE, KATATONIA, TESTAMENT).

2019-05-22 - Swedish masters of progressive heavy-rock OPETH have revealed today the title and tracklisting for their awaited 13th album, »In Cauda Venenum«, that’s due out this fall from Moderbolaget / Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Recorded last year at Stockholm's Park Studios, »In Cauda Venenum« will be released in two versions, in both Swedish and English languages. Various physical and digital formats will be available and additional details will be announced in the coming months.
