"Possession", the brand new studio album from the Polish female-fronted heavy metal act CRYSTAL VIPER, will be released on Friday 13, December 2013, via AFM Records as a CD, limited edition LP and as a digital download. Earlier, on November 29, the band will release video clip for the song "Prophet Of The End". "This is probably the most unusual song I ever wrote, I sometimes think it's even best song I ever composed. We decided to film video clip for it, as it's different than everything Crystal Viper did in the past. So while people expect straight heavy metal from us, and as we of course deliver such tracks on the new album, this song shows we didn't say last word as a band yet" says vocalist and guitarist Marta Gabriel. "While working on this video clip, we wanted to achieve similar atmosphere to this one from "Paranormal Activity" movies, or from the "Fourth Kind" with Milla Jovovich, and basically reveal something from the story told on the album. We filmed this clip in Germany with guys from the 3D Maximal company, I think they did a great job and the final result is really cool!" she adds.

CD version will include cover version of the classic RIOT song "Thundersteel" as the bonus track, and the LP version will include new, alternate version of "Night Prowler" - song taken from the first CRYSTAL VIPER album "The Curse Of Crystal Viper" (originally released in 2007). On "Possession" - which was once again produced by Bart Gabriel (SACRED STEEL, SABATON, BURNING STARR, MORTICIAN) - CRYSTAL VIPER decided to cross the borders of traditional heavy metal, and while there are still fast and melodic songs that bring references to such classic bands as JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH (with Ronnie James Dio) and JAG PANZER, the epic and dark parts bring comparisons to acts such as CANDLEMASS, MERCYFUL FATE and even BATHORY. CRYSTAL VIPER again invited members of other bands to sing guest parts on new album: the song "Fight Evil With Evil" features the legendary American singer Harry Conklin (JAG PANZER, TITAN FORCE, SATAN'S HOST), while "Julia Is Possessed" contains the growling voice of Sataniac, vocalist of the German black/thrash metal act DESASTER. In addition, one of the songs features more than 50 fans of the band, who were invited via band's official Facebook page to "scream" on the new album.

Crystal Viper are back! The Polish Heavy Metallers are returning after a 4 year absence, which was caused by the health issues relating to the band's front woman and founder, Marta Gabriel, and which placed the future of Crystal Viper into question (last year Marta underwent surgery of her nasal and facial sinuses). "The witch is back" however, sounding stronger, heavier and louder than ever before...!

On February 17, 2017, AFM Records will release Crystal Viper's new concept album entitled "Queen Of The Witches". The album, which will be available as a limited edition vinyl LP, CD and digital download, has been produced by Bart Gabriel - producer known for his collaboration with acts such as Cirith Ungol, Mythra and Sacred Steel (and within their private lives, Marta's husband), and engineered and mixed by Mariusz Pietka (Jack Starr's Burning Starr, Lonewolf, Mortician). The album's cover artwork has been created by the legendary German artist, Andreas Marschall (Running Wild, Blind Guardian, Kreator etc.). The first single from the new album will be entitled "The Witch Is Back", and will be available in December. On February 18, 2017, the band will play an exclusive headlining live show in Munich, Germany, at the Heavy Metal's Calling Festival, which will be an official release party for the new album.

In other news Marta Gabriel, the band's singer and guitarist who has once again written all of the songs on the new album, recently joined the ESP Guitars family. In addition, all of the members of Crystal Viper have signed an endorsement deal with Dean Markley Strings.

CRYSTAL VIPER's latest studio album "Queen Of The Witches" is still hot, but the band waste no time and strikes back with a special, limited edition EP entitled "At The Edge Of Time", which will be released on June 22. The effort, which will be available as a 10" vinyl (!) and digital download, includes 5 new recordings: 3 brand new Crystal Viper songs (the title track in both English and Polish version), alternate version of the fans' favorite "When The Sun Goes Down", and "Tell Me Why" - previously unreleased cover of the NWOBHM hard rockers Quartz. The cover artwork, once again painted by the amazing Andreas Marschall (Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Kreator), is matching the lyrics which are based on the works of the legendary British fantasy writer Michael Moorcock.

CD and digital version of the album will include a bonus track in the shape of a DOKKEN cover "Dream Warriors" (originally recorded for "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3" movie), while the vinyl LP version will include CRYSTAL VIPER's rendition of the I-TEN song "Alone", mainly known as the power ballad recorded by HEART.

(ENG) We are very proud to announce, that CRYSTAL VIPER inked a new multiple record deal with Listenable Records. Our new studio album entitled "The Cult" will be released in January, and will be available as CD, limited edition vinyl LP, MC, and digital download. CD and digital version will include an exclusive bonus track: cover version of the KING DIAMOND classic "Welcome Home" (recorded with a special guest: the KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque), while the vinyl LP version will include CRYSTAL VIPER’s version of the SATAN classic, "Trial By Fire".
"I’m super excited about this new album, as it marks a new era of the band. First of all, it’s our first album for Listenable Records. It’s also our first album with new drummer, Cederick, who joined us last year. Except that I’m back to playing guitar, and I couldn’t be happier!" says CRYSTAL VIPER vocalist and guitarist, Marta Gabriel.
